A Rhode Island jury verdict says that 3 manufacturers of lead paint will be held responsible for cleanup to 300,000 homes. (Boston Globe 2/24/06) This case sets legal precedent, and is a major victory toward companies being responsible for the cost to natural capital and human capital.
